I’m Candice, the lead cinematographer & photographer of Spin the Dial! I am based in Los Angeles & Joshua Tree California. (But I’ll travel anywhere in the world to help you celebrate your union!)

I got my start in a photo dark room lab in high school and fell in LOVE with the chemicals & magic of image making. I was obsessed and very early on and it was an easy decision to make this my whole life. I received my BFA in Photography in Denver and then later my MFA in Cinema at UCLA. I’ve been gleefully capturing weddings since 2013 (over 400 to date) and when I’m not crying happy tears at your wedding, I work as a Director of Photography for narrative films and commercials. You can find me out hiking with my pup on a dusty trail.

This is more than a career for me. Its not just a ‘job’. Image making is my way of life and the compass that I follow. Its my whole entire heart and I love sharing that magic with our couples and helping preserve memories to make them indelible.

After you have contacted me with your desired pacakge or set up a time to chat where I can help you decide what pacakge best fits you; I will then send you a contract to review and make it official. I ask for 50% up front as a retainer to reserve the date. I accept all forms of payment through Honeybook.

You’ve booked me and now we can get ready to party! I am always happy to help with recommendations on other vendors to help make your event exactly how you envisioned, let me know! And after the big event, I will be sure to make extra copies of your digital files that I mail to you on USB for free along with your edited films!
