Thank you for considering us to capture your wedding! 
After all the drinks are gone and the happy tears have been wiped away, those documented images and sounds are what you get to keep forever to relive one of the best days of your life.

We believe you should find people you trust and empowers you to feel your best! Our style is natural and candid. We don't do super posed or cheesy rehearsed shots. Our goal is to be as invisible as a ghost and capture your day just as it happened and create a story that is reflective of who you are. The name, Spin the Dial, comes from a spontaneous trip to Mexico Candice took with an old friend. To us it represents taking a chance and being fearless, which is where all the best art is made ❤️ We film weddings for all expressions of gender, race, class, religions, and sexual orientations. We are LGBTQIA+ & POC owned with open hearts and minds and want to work with other folks that feel the same ❤️

Then use our contact form to inquire about your date and set up a time for us to answer any questions you have. Or if you’re feeling ready to book and don’t want to chat, that’s totally cool! Just let us know what pacakge(s) you’re interested in booking via the contact form and we can get you set up!

After you have contacted us with your desired pacakge or set up a time to chat where we can help you decide what pacakge best fits you; we will then send you a contract to review and make it official. We ask for 50% up front as a retainer to reserve the date and the rest is due either on the day of your wedding or after depending on which service you booked with us.

Get ready to party! We are always happy to help with recommendations on other vendors to help make your event exactly how you envisioned. And after the big event be sure to make copies of your digital files that we deliver to you!

Helloooo! I’m Candice, the lead cinematographer & photographer of Spin the Dial! I am based in Los Angeles & Joshua Tree California. (But I’ll travel anywhere to help you celebrate your union!)

I got my start in a photo dark room lab in high school and fell in LOVE with the chemicals & magic of image making. I was obsessed and very early on decided to make it my whole life. I received my BFA in Photography in Denver and then later my MFA in Cinema at UCLA. I’ve been gleefully capturing weddings since 2013 (over 400 to date) and when I’m not crying happy tears at your wedding, I strive to be a Director of Photography for narrative films and commercials (also you can find me out hiking with my pup on a dusty trail)

This is more than a career for me. Its not just a ‘job’. Image making is my way of life and the compass that I follow. Its my whole entire heart and I love sharing that magic with our couples and helping preserve memories to make them indelible.

I’m CJ, cinematographer & content creator for Spin the Dial. I am a native Californian & Filipino American growing up in San Bernardino County and making my way out to where I am now based in Pasadena, CA. When my camera is put away, you can find me riding motorcycles on mountain roads, finding new things to research and obsess over (currently: watches), or getting my Jeep unstuck from deep mud/snow.

I fell into wedding videography completely by accident; While in college (studying a completely different subject), I was asked by a friend to help shoot a wedding. As soon as we arrived and I was able to witness the joy and emotion surrounding the couple throughout the day, I knew I wanted to continue celebrating peoples’ love stories.

Over 10 years later, I continue to meet incredible couples and preserve the sights, sounds, and emotions of their cherished moments.
